Come ride Bracebridge with Ontario Snowmobile Adventures

between Orillia and Bala heading for Bracebridge.
Spectacular in summer and breathtaking in winter,Muskoka is a
snowmobilers' paridise boasting almost 2,000 km of groomed trails.

A short drive puts you in some good snow conditions and excellent trails. A good choice of spots to go if you only have the weekend to sled. An hour and a half from Barrie and your on the snow. Bracebridge is a hub and you can go in all directions by sled. North will take you to the Sequin Trail, from there to Parry sound or Dunchurch. South from Bracebridge is Gravenhurst.West takes you to Mactier. There are several places to stay and eat right in the town with trails at your door. We have sledded to Mckellar, Mactier, Coldwater and Huntsville from Bracebridge riding good trails.

Bracebridge to Mckellar is about 6 hours.
Coldwater to Bracebridge is an easy day trip. Bracebridge to Macteir and back is another easy day ride.
Sleep Inn, right on the trail, is the sledders choice of places to stay and directly across the road is The Purple Pig restaurant. Excellent food and late hours.
Bala has a great restaurant called the Bala Bay Inn. Pub 69 is another good sports bar and restaurant.

Don't Forget the Day Trips
Late spring running can be glorious,
and we got our share of it in 2002.
Leaving Coldwater and heading up the
ponds to the swift we enjoyed
a camp fire lunch and awesome
snowmobiling. There was some slush
on the lakes but plenty of ice underneath
it. It's the time of year that you can take

off your jackets and still be plenty warm. We then proceeded on up to Bala and then back home to Coldwater. Just a nice relaxing day.
There are lots of deer up at the Swift and we spent time just cruising looking at the deer.
